Imagineer Systems will be giving the latest version of monet, v1.5, as well as the new set of Shake plug-ins, mofex, their Asian debut at Broadcast Asia (June 14th - 17th 2005). Imagineers award winning wire and rig removal tool, mokey, will also be shown. Imagineer Systems Managing Director, Allan Jaenicke, will be presenting the products on The Media Village booth (2D4-01).

Aimed at the broadcast, film and video post-production markets, monet is a unique tool offering a start-to-finish solution for replacing elements in film and video. monet 1.5 features a host of new tools and optimisations that increase its already impressive price/performance ratio.

mofex is a unique set of Shake plug-ins offering access to innovative Imagineer algorithms throught the Shake compositing system. The mofex toolset supports import of shapes from monet, application of lens distortion, calculation and application of shadows and highlights, application of tracking marker filters, adaptive anti-aliasing filtering, warping and temporal median filtering.

With the mofex plug-ins monet users will also be able to export a Shake script that uses the mofex plug-ins and creates an active composite in which the inputs can be changed. This is especially important in feature film production where Shake is used as the main compositing suite and operators want to use monet to quickly generate accurate elements for compositing but want to maintain their composite within Shake.

mokey offers an essential toolset for removing wires, rigs, logos and other undesired from film and video sequences. Using Imagineer's unique motion compensated algorithms, mokey can significantly reduce the post-production time associated with these tasks.
