Exporting Shapes to Shake

Thanks for sharing information. its really nice and mean full. I want to write more but these days I am doing preparation of different online certifications and I found network+ exam (http://www.networkplusexam.com) :oguide is the best helping source which is providing 100% authentic material. I also spend my extra time in surfing internet, listening music :cool:and playing games. After my exams I would like to join your group.

Hi David,

Can you send in the project file please? We don’t need the media.

Thanks,

J-P

This missing macro error refers to not having Mofex installed, or having an old version of Mofex. The non-ssf export is only useful if you’ve actaully got a valid Mofex licence.

SSF files seem to be OK on the first frame then in later frames the shape develops a mind of its own and goes distorted and weird.

I’ve tried saving the shape data as a Shake script but when I open it in Shake I’m getting “Missing Macro” in the viewer.

I suspect what you are experiencing in the first instance is that you are importing the SSF contour but it lacks the tracking data. The SSF file only contains the Layer keyframes from Motor.

As JP stated, regarding the “Missing Macro” this is because the .shk script relies on Mofex.

Sure thing. Where should I send it?

Please send to motor-beta@imagineersystems.com

Hey. I’ve got a good Matte in Motor but I’m having trouble getting it into Shake 4.1

SSF files seem to be OK on the first frame then in later frames the shape develops a mind of its own and goes distorted and weird.

I’ve tried rendering a matte from Motor but I either get black frames or the file in node goes into error.

I’ve tried saving the shape data as a Shake script but when I open it in Shake I’m getting “Missing Macro” in the viewer.

Anybody have any ideas?

Many thanks
David

Just in case you did not understand. I assume you imported the SSF file on it’s own and that would be why it acts the way you describe.

It requieres the tracking data in the form of the Stabilize node.
