Error with 3:2 pulldown

I have some shots that I’m putting into Mocha AE from After Effects. They are HD, upper field first with 3:2 pulldown. I have the pulldown interpreted correctly in After Effects and am seeing 24(23.976) clean frames in the comp. When I scrub it in Mocha, I’m not getting any hold frames but every 5th frame shows only one field. I’ve tried each of the cadence options in the clip menu to no avail. What am I doing wrong?

You will get best results if you convert the footage to progressive or an image sequence. There may be something in the codec mocha does not like. Try converting the footage and trying again. Please let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to help you.
