Frankfurt-based facility, ACHT Frankfurt, is the latest German customer to purchase monet. Within a short period of having installed the software it was used for two jobs to produce stunning results.
The first job, a commercial for Opel, involved a 10 second shot where the idea was to remove the middle line and place text looking like road markings onto the road.

"Whereas several other systems failed to handle the track, monet handled it very easily even though the camera was shaking in all directions and there was not a single tracking point throughout," says Ralf Drechsler, Owner of ACHT Frankfurt. The result was a perfect tracking and the shot was completed in monet by placing the text, with motion blur, on the road.

The second job was a ZDF trailer, involving a 20 second sequence requiring an element to be inserted into the screen of a TV. "Based on our knowledge of monet, we instructed the clients to shoot the TV with a blank screen without tracking markers, such that the reflections easily could be lifted onto the insert using monet," says Ralf Drechsler. "We used monet's lens distortion tool, tracked the right insert in and brought the reflections back. That's all! We now have a very happy client."
