Activating mocha on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion

Workaround instructions to activate mocha on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion

Due to changes in permissions on the /Library folder, mocha cannot be activated on Lion. An update will be released soon to address this, but in the meantime please use the following steps to work around the problem:

  1. Click on the Mac desktop or the Finder icon in the Dock
  2. Type ⇧⌘G and a window will appear with the message "Go to the folder"
  3. In the window, type /Library/Application Support/ and click Go
  4. Click File|New Folder in the menu bar; a window will appear asking for your username and password
    • In the window, if your name is already filled in, then just enter your password and click OK
    • If your name is not filled in already, enter the username and password of an administrator user and click OK
  5. A new folder will have been created called "untitled folder" and its name will be selected. Type the new name "Imagineer Systems". It's important to make sure the capital letters are correct and there is a space between Imagineer and Systems.
  6. Now run mocha and activate as normal
