How should I configure the File Cache?

Q: My machine has a system drive and a disk array. Should I setup the file cache to the system drive or the disk array?
You should set the File Cache to use the disk array as it
  1. is faster
  2. has more space

Q: Should the file cache be the same as the file location?
The File Cache can be any drive attached to the system, or even a network drive. Ideally use the fastest drive available.

Q: I set the File Cache to the disk array, but I do not see any temp files created within the folder.
This may be because you have a lot of memory in the system. The application will only cache to disk once it runs out of RAM. Try it with a very long / high resolution clip to test this.

Q: In the C drive, there are MokeyTemp + MoTemp folders, what are they for?
They were created as default File Cache folders - you can delete them once you have changed the File Cache to use another drive / folder.
